Naviance Student

Naviance Student is a web based tool tailored for Norwalk High School’s students and their parents. This comprehensive website is used to help students gain insight about their personalities and learning styles in order to make informed decisions regarding college and career plans. Naviance Student is linked with the guidance department so that our counselors can track and analyze student data and assist with the college application process. It provides up-to-date information that’s specific to Norwalk High’s students.

Naviance allows students and parents to:

• Research Colleges - Compare GPA, standardized test scores, and other statistics to actual historical data from our school for students who have applied in the past
• Sign up for college visits – Find out which colleges are sending representatives to our school and sign up to attend those sessions
• Streamline the college application process- Create college lists, request teacher recommendations and keep track of admission deadlines
• Access Scholarship Information – Obtain information about available scholarships including application information, deadlines and requirements

Naviance also lets us share information with students and their parents about upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other Web resources for college and career information.
