Music Department Overview

The Norwalk High School Performing Arts Department continues its long history of excellence in music and theatre by offering extensive performance opportunities alongside a rigorous theoretical and historical foundation. Instrumentalists, vocalists, dancers, and theater artists all find a home within our department. To help us achieve our goal of producing well-rounded, career and college-ready students, they are encouraged to take an active role in more than one discipline. We provide 21st century skills applicable to all career paths, and strive to instill in our students a lifelong appreciation of the arts, and a commitment to advocacy.
